Bourne - Brennan Breaux and Doug Norman
Brewster - Beau and Bryce Jordan, Jake Latz (if healthy enough), Stallings
Chatham - Caleb Gilbert, Romero
Harwich - Duplantis and Bain
Wareham - Cole Freeman

Is Lange trying out for Team USA, if not, he could end up somewhere
No Papierski or Deichmann listed

Incoming recruit Josh Smith playing for Danville Dans - most high schoolers don't play in collegiate summer leagues

I think it would be fun to go watch some LSU players play in the Cape Cod league sometime. Anyone here ever done that and, if so, any advice?

I've been to that area and driven by several fields, all the fields are high school like, very little seating, everyone brings lawn chairs and sits all around. All teams are within driving distance around Cape Cod, it's unique and pretty neat to experience a lot of top college players.

Where some LSU gear and all of the SEC guys will come talk to you, they miss the south a lot. It's a fun experience been to 2 games.

I was born and raised in Chatham, Massachusetts. I played one summer for the Chatham A's, when I wasn't mowing lawns for my dad's lawn service business. I met my wife, Tenley, that summer. I almost let her get away, but I left a game in the middle of a no-hitter to go stop her at the airport. Luckily my closer finished it off for me, and I signed with the Phillies. It was the best Summer Catch I ever made.

Do you go by Ryan or do you prefer Freddie?

Last summer Lange did not play summer ball. He just rested and did off season throwing. I would assume that might be his plan this summer, as well.

Ryan for sure. Only Billy Brubaker calls me Freddie.

Me and my squad! #ThrowbackThursday

Know he probably needed the rest, but I wonder if the summer layoff is part of why it has taken him a while this year to get back on track?

If everything comes together the team is going to be filthy next year.

I need to check the schedule. I go to CC with the in-laws for a week in August.

Papierski will be playing for Thunder Bay in the Northwoods league. As far as I know he's the only one playing for a team in Canada this year.

Cole McKay will be in the Alaskan league with the Anchorage Glacier Pilots.

Still working on finding the rest.

I've been to several games, and tended to go to games that had the most LSU players on the roster. It's a very cool setting and it's a who's who of college baseball. The average fan there (IMO) doesn't consider it as big time as people in BRLA do. For instance the players walk through the stands and sell 50/50 tickets, they don't spend time signing autographs or memorabilia. They have a hard time believing the celebrity status the players experience outside of cape cod.

In general the crowds are small and you can put a lawn chair 3 feet from the baseline. Overall it's a very fun setting.
