LSU vs Clemson one of the best bowl games this year

Looking at the entire line up of games, LSU is in one of the best, in terms of fan interest.
Of course we want to be in the BCS championship game, but we still will be on a national stage with the country watching.
Looking forward to putting on a good show, ending this year with a nice victory, which will lead into a strong off season.

I agree. It's certainly the marquee non-BCS matchup, and it even beats some of the BCS matchups. The whining about this game from some of our fans is unbelieveable, undeserved, and unbearable.

Agreed, good matchup, better than 3 of the BCS games....once the initial "we got screwed" wears off, I can get excited for LSU-Clemson

The bowl games this year are really dissapointing. LSU vs Clemson is probably the 4th best bowl game.

Really is a good match up. Kind of weird that its Tigers vs. Tigers and both stadiums are known as Death Valley. Not that Clemson's Death Valley has the rep that LSU'S does.

Who are you kidding? Clemson was dominated by South Carolina playing on the road without its starting QB and RB. No one with an ounce of brain power has any reason to think this should be a close contest. LSU has nothing to gain from this game.

Clemson was indeed dominated by USC. We don't have an offensive mind on this staff anywhere near Steve Spurrier, and Clowney took over that game. As good as M&M are, they don't take over a game like him. Clemson could get nothing done in the passing game because of him alone.
Taj Boyd is a damn good QB. He could absolutely get hot and give us trouble, as much worse qb's have this year. They also have a balanced rushing game.
I expect us to win, but this is no gimme.
Especially when the fanbase is acting like we're playing North Texas.

It will be one of the best bowl games this year, but that really gives a true definition of how shite the bowls are this post-season.

No, this is not going to be a good game. Clemson has played exactly two ranked teams this year. They lost them both by double digits. We will have a month to scheme T. Boyd. If we can out-scheme Johnny Football in a week, we'll have no problem with Boyd.

LSU will stomp a hole in Clemson. They have absolutely no defense so Mett should put on a clinic. Interesting thing about this game is both sets of Tigers claim home stadium as Death Valley. Does the winner get exclusive use of the name?
