I think he spent more time on the ground than he did on his feet. It seemed liked every single play he was on his stomach 1 second into the play.

Toviano looks like he belongs. If we are trying to look for positives

That's what stood out to me. All of the DBs graded decently except for Sage Ryan

It reminds me a lot of the offensive personnel under Miles when they would realize during games that the outdated ground & pound was doing nothing & that nothing would change.

Sage Ryan

Had an opportunity to make a game changing play but he's so soft mentally that he blew it.

The data shows what anyone with a set of eyes could clearly see. It also continues to show how abysmal the staff has been.

Swinson has been LSU's best edge rusher all year. Yet, he continues to not start.

Smith continues to play on reputation ONLY. He hasn't done anything all year, and he plays with the least amount of effort of anyone on an already bad defense. Unless he somehow beats a block immediately (which is rare) he basically gives up on the play and allows himself to be easily blocked.

Speights is not that guy. Who cares if he is in the "right place" if he can't make a play when there? No, Weeks hasn't been perfect. But he will at least flash during games. You literally forget Speights is on the team...until you see a replay of a big gain where he is nowhere to be found.

Sage Ryan hasn't made a single play in his entire LSU career. Yet, he continues to play over, and over, and over. Does anyone else find it telling that in a game where LSU was starting a true freshman CB in his first significant action ever, the opponent still found attacking Ryan to be their more favorable approach.

House has no idea how to use Perkins. Now, I'm not saying I do, but a creative DC would find a way to get him involved. Hell, it took until the 2nd quarter of the Ole Miss game last year for House/Kelly to realize what anyone watching LSU already knew...Perkins was a difference maker.

Every time I saw a hole needing to be filled by a linebacker, Speights went the other way. Maybe he lines up correctly, but he doesn’t read the play well.

Can’t argue with any of that.

It's borderline criminal. Hope he doesn't transfer.
