Fake...but I actually don't mind the purple helmet but with a white face mask. Those with the USCe combo from last year would look clean IMO.

Wow. Lots of fail here. Mumme was coach from 97-2000. We lost 24-16 with uk scoring 17 in the 4th quarter. One score after a sky kick that our kor team decided not to cover.

That's certainly a photoshopped fantasy uniform picture. LSU has never worn purple helmets, and they wore purple pants (no stripes) in one infamous road loss to Kentucky for which Gerry DiNardo was skewered for choosing that color scheme.
That picture is certainly not an unattractive alternate color combination for LSU, but there's so much superstition regarding LSU uniforms that if such a uniform is worn, it would be in a very winnable game like Jax State or South Alabama, and not against a high profile opponent like Ole Miss.

Yeah, that Auburn 2011 Nike was great, but I still think the white helmet/pants with the traditional purple jerseys LSU wore at home in one game last year was the best alternate ever. The team looked sharp and played decently in that game.

I like the current white and yellow uniforms with the touch of purple. I do like the all White, Purple, and Gold vs. Yellow in the previous post.
However, the purple pants with current white jersey and yellow helmet wouldn't be bad...
I just don't want to turn into the west coast teams with 20 different uniforms and colors. Honestly, I don't know what the Oregon Ducks colors are most of the time!!

Besides being photoshopped, the players didn't wear bicep bands back then.
