It's kind of sad LSU hasn't lowered the prices on tickets yet. It's obvious our alloment isn't gonna sell out. They'd rather make money than see a full LSU side on a national stage.

Going to football games doesn't have to be affordable for everyone. I'm not even sure LSU sets the prices for the tickets for this game.

I got my tix, but it's kind of embarassing when 2 power 5 schools can't sellout an NFL stadium

It's more that the market is trying to tell them we're not interested in these games.

Auburn/Washington in Atlanta has plenty of cheap tickets still available as well.

1. Jerry World is bigger than most NFL, and all but a few college stadiums
2. Dallas is not close for one of these two fanbases, which has a reputation for being fair-weather and in a city who’s native population doesn’t get out for sporting events.
3. The other fanbase is still trying to feel out how good/bad their team is going to be this year, and would rather stay home.

Maybe if that happens it will be the beginning of the end of these neutral site games.

I don't think Sunday night was a good idea if you're looking to pack seats. Many people would have to take the next day off of work just to see a college football game that they have NO idea whether or not their team will come out strong.

On the other hand, for TV and recruiting, its great.

I mean, there's a reason this particular Sunday was chosen...

The prices are absurd. Why is it that an average family cannot afford to go to a college game today as they could in the 60s? Let's see if anyone can get the right answer.

$100 for nose bleed...$300 for lower level?!!.....I’ll save about $1500-2000 by watching it at home

I was planning to go until i saw the ticket prices and locations

LSU has 5 home/away series scheduled the next 12 years. The message has been received.

I’m a going but I knew these prices would drop. The entire nose bleed on both sides is up for sale below face value. I’m hoping to get lower sideline for around 100 later this week. We’ll see.

I live in Dallas and plan to buy tickets at the game outside the gate.

I think I'll be able to find tickets for $80-100 in the lower bowl right before kickoff. If I can't, then I'll just go home or watch it somewhere else.

Sunday actually worked out better for me. I won't have to use a vacation day being Monday is a holiday.

Agreed. For last years opener we sat in the lower bowl for $150.

I understand its a different venue and a little bit bigger game, but they priced the tickets too high for this one.

The game would be on Saturday if Monday wasn’t Labor Day.

I’m holding out as well. I know the prices will continue to drop.

To the OP’s point, it’s sad that the tickets dropping at not the LSU allotment. They are still high and unsold.
