The visitors always get grandstand seats for their allotment. Can't usually fit 2 per seat.

NCAA requires host schools to give up some seats to the visiting team in the postseason. Those seats have to be in the grandstand.

I sat in the opposite team family seats. They're bad arse. Right above the gold seats behind home plate

The baseball committee requires that 200 tickets shall be held for each visiting team at regional competition for the games in which that team participates. All of these tickets must be in a “PRIME” area (between first and third bases).

At super regional competition, 600 “prime” tickets must be held for the visiting team (between first and third bases).

Each participating institution may purchase up to six tickets for each team member, regardless of whether the individual competes in the championship. (IMPORTANT: These tickets should be taken from the team ticket allotment noted in the “Tickets For Visiting Teams” section [above].).

Yep. Getting bleacher seats instead of my season tix in the gold section behind home plate. I told the ticket manager I understand that you have to reserve a section for the visitors but that will look just great on tv with a section of red right behind the plate.

You would think they would put the visitors fans right behind their dugout. That would still be considered "prime"

they rotate the sections that are relocated so, hopefully I have a few more years before it happens again. What really sucks is, i pay the same price for the cheaper seats.

Yeah that would go over real well with the same people being relocated every single year. Think brah.

yup, it's like "thanks for the payment. oh, by the way your section is being relocated. Have a nice day".

1. Where were your seats?
2. Where were you relocated to?
3. Were you aware of this possibility when you bought those seats?
4. Knowing that there is a possibility of this happening again in the future, will you renew your season tickets?

I have a friend who sits in the gold seats behind home plate and had to give them up for the "visiting team" last year. He went and checked his seats during the game and Cathy Miles was in them one night and Chad Jones was in them another night.

You gotta get them in the grandstand. Tony Robichaux's wife motherfricking the LSU team and fans isn't going to have the same impact tucked away down the left field line.

I think you are missing the point. Every season ticket holder knows it may happen and if it does oh well. But charging for grandstand and putting you in bleacher is BS. You shouldnt still have to pay the grandstand rate.
