I kinda had forgotten how freaking strong Rohan's arm was passing.

astounding, right? SO effortless. that was one of my first reactions as well.

with regard to Tiger Stadium, after seeing what has happened here and watching upstarts like Mizzou and seeing Auburn come back to life and watching Alabama's fan base, it is fair to say that football is never as fun as when you are climbing the mountain. it's most fun of course when you know you are about to reach a summit, be it an SEC championship, BCS or even just pulling an huge upset. The momentum and energy of a team on the way up can't be matched. maybe it's the fact that you know better days are ahead. you know there will be a bigger payday down the line.

once you are on top, it's never the same. like getting that job with the bigger salary you think you can never spend...and which soon becomes your living wage and inevitably is not quite enough to do all the things you want. human nature i suppose.

After the initial rush of the field, I came on the field also, and saved a life...The ESPN cameraman atop a stand was moving on the sideline and a screw was headed for un-suspecting fans heads...I saw it, dodged it myself, and literally pushed several folks out of the way that might have been literally screwed to death.....fortunately, no one got hit with it, and UThug was the only one screwed on the field....

Very well said. I was a little too young yo embrace the resurgence of LSU football, but I can only imagine how fun it was at the time. I can say I have been a loyal LSU basketball fan, so I suppose that will be my best shot at watching one of LSU's "Big 3" to return to glory. Baseball was too brief to count.

Looking back on it. Kinda hard to believe we rushed the field for beating an 11th ranked team

One of the most electric games ever in Tiger Stadium... All that other stuff played into the storming of the field.

Great post!
Throwback to a big win and the change of our program from the previous years. Loved watching Rohan and seeing the LSU players with all the passion and heart from that clip!
