Hate to bump this thread but just saw it.

From what I heard after the game in 2010, the McNeese fans were treated very well for the game in 2010. Of course, the tailgating styles of both fanbases (styles, not size) is very similar. We are there to have fun and the opposing fans are not mortal enemies.

Our hosting of opposing fans when we are at home can be summarized as: we will invite you in to our tailgates before the game filling you with food and drinks, then we will root like crazy for out team to beat the crap out of you during the game, and then we will come back after the game and tailgate with you some more no matter who wins.

Looking forward to Sept 5th. Should be fun.

Offer them food...offer them beer...proceed to tell them they're about to get their shite pushed in.

Non a-hole visitors are treated extremely well.

This. The only people I've seen treated poorly are:
A. People who were offended by and became angered by being "Tigerbait!"ed (see Alabama and Florida fans).
B. Blackout drunken assholes who tried to crash a tailgate where they didn't know anyone. The only fans I have seen attempt this were Alabama fans, Florida fans, and other LSU fans.
C. This one guy who attempted to steal the satellite dish from a tailgate setup (they ran him down and whooped that arse, put him in the hospital).

Basically, don't be a dick. Just laugh when you're tigerbaited, shake their hand, and they'll likely feed you and give you a beer.
