They should NOT cancel the game since the storm's track and forecast arrival is now as late as Tuesday. Of course that's IF it goes to LA. That's still very much in doubt at this time. I hope that the announcement will be that the game will go one as planned. If anything, maybe they could move it up earlier in the day to give fans more time to get home and prepare should the threat materialize.

This would be the best scenario for everyone. Why can't they just do that!?

Gustav is not going to be past Cuba by game time.

If LSU is going to be this cautious, they might as well stop scheduling home games until October!

Even if Indy Stadium were available and large enough, this is a holiday weekend and the hotels are already booked with gamblers, plus, logistically, changing all those flight arrangements would be impossible or extremely expensive for out-of-towners. It isn't going to S'port City. Bad idea.

Also, App State has an open date the same day LSU plays N. Texas. Both N.Texas and LSU have open dates on the same day in November. Get N. Texas to move to that Nov. date and App. State to move to the Sept. date originally planned for N. Texas. Problem solved.

Maybe our new Gov doesn't like football much. He did give away his box seats, right?

I think this whole post is b.s. No one will say where they heard that there even would be an announcement. Also, the storm is coming one day later than they thought it was coming yesterday and they said no effect on the game as of yesterday....this is just stupid...

the storm will not even enter the GULF until Late saturday PM or early sunday AM....

That would give people plenty of time to get out if an evacuation is ordered!!!
