Plain and simple, hitting and lack of adjustments with hitting is our problem. Pitching is not.

I feel like a lot of these posters only watched the World Series and have yet to even keep up with the program. It's pretty apparent from certain posters.

Firing Beth Torina would be the most stupid firing in the history of college softball.
Send Dobson packing, and i really think he should be a head coach elsewhere.. i think he would do well. We need a different, more hands on hitting coach at LSU. Nothing personal, but i think Howard should go back to head coaching, and i think he would do well.

ignorance is bliss. like we predicted before just a matter of time before softball threads are ruined or derailed by these types just like the football and baseball threads. Exhibit A is this thread. exhibit B:

You think, it's much worse than even the baseball EXPERTS on this site.
This thread was started because LSU didn't win the championship and now posters who didn't even realize LSU had a softball team are all of a sudden interested and experts in college softball.

there are quite a few people that post on here that want Beth fired. The man who posted about firing Beth was poking at them. He himself does not want her fired, but we have seen many who do.

I never said anything about firing Torina, but as a Dept Manager of a very visible program, Torina needs to seriously evaluate the performance of her Coaching Staff. Torina hired Howard Dobson, so she must in some part agree with his approach to hitting, that in itself needs to be changed, as it's glaringly deficient.

LSU fans are the best. Three years ago you wouldn't even have known there was a gymnastics team. Let them do good for a year or two and there are now threads, sellouts and people (LSU fans) suddenly care.
Thank god though, there would have been 37 years of fire DD Breaux threads. With more hatred than Coach O gets. The worst fans in the world are gymnast fans.

Miraculous to me we made it to WCWS after losing Bell and Kloss and not replacing them with equal type players.
We'll forever miss Jaquish, one of a kind who comes along once in a blue moon.
We need better coaching with hitting and need to come up with some sure enough pitching to replace Hoover and Walljasper after next year.
