That guy gas built a hell of a program at SFA. He would be a great hire for the Tigers.

Danny Kaspar built that program. Bradford inherited greatness and didn't frick it up.

Ha! That's rich. We don't write checks for every up-and-coming Joe Blow.

How many flavor-of-the-month basketball coaches take jobs at other schools and replicate that tourney success year-after-year? None of them.

Basketball franchises that have consistent success have institutional support. They have magnificent facilities. Can't-miss recruits are worshipped as celebrities almost universally by the student body, and literally have the coaches purchase prostitutes for them. They know that they must perform at a high level or be replaced by the next McDonalds All-American next year.

LSU cannot achieve replicable success just by hiring a coach. It would take years of building a winner to change the culture at LSU. LSU will never be North Carolina, Kansas, KY or Duke. It just will never happen.

I love how mid-majors like VCU and butler sustain their success coach to coach yet schools like LSU can't hire a single good basketball coach in most of their existance. Sad.

yall still got a coach right? Going after the flavor of the day like Bama did with Anthony Grant will probably get you the same results. You may regret what you ask for.
