I’d imagine 30% of Nike sales give a shite about the Betsy Ross issues. It’s the university’s best uniform provider and gives the university the best profit.

It shouldn’t stop at Nike. Lsu should end their sports altogether. If it wasn’t for the sport of football, then no one would have ever heard of Kapernick. There wouldn’t be anyone kneeling during the national anthem. There wouldn’t be any championship teams to turn down trips to the White House. Wouldn’t be a liberal sports network. Nike wouldn’t exist without sports. Lsu is helping support all of these things with the athletic talent they produce.
Lsu was founded in 1853. Lsu didn’t play baseball until 1893, football until 1893, basketball until 1909. Seems like the school did fine for decades without sports.
