Just do about club. Get a faculty member to sponsor you, create a constitution and do all the legal crap through LSU student life or whatever and you're good to go.

Not to mention, there are several non profit conservation organizations out there that give money away for competitive shooting, as well as the NSSF. I would contact the NSSF and let them help organize a team.

NRA has s grant program putting out millions for the shooting sports. You have to be organized first of course.
