why do I think the Red Elephant Club got on their secret decoder rings to Birmingham...

I'm sure there is going to be some sort of risk waiver that schools who want their bands to perform at halftime will have to sign or the SEC will come out with some sort of policy

Not sure why they felt the need for a press release on the initial ruling. Why don't they just make the decision and keep it quiet?

this is crazy. it's either "safe" or it isn't.

I can't possibly fathom why that decision was made in the first place.

I'm sure there

The university already has blanket insurance policies for things like this. In fact, every university would have blanket insurance policies.

F King, Joe Alleva, and the whole LSU athletic administration does not have a backbone. They are weak and crumble under the slightest public pressure. Alleva did the same thing at Duke during their Lacrosse scandal. Embarrassing.

cultural deafness on the part of the LSU administration...look at some of the people F. King has brought on board, I deal with risk assessment all the time and there are some pretty simple ways to deal with it...but if Mari Fuentes-Martin had anything to do with it, it'd be another nail in her coffin...
