You guys can argue all day long. No QB on staff now is capabale of leading LSU to a playoff appearance or title under this current coaching staff. It’s not the kids fault because they are talented or they wouldn’t even be at a power 5 school on scholarship. They are not being groomed or even place in a position to succeed like everyone here wants.

You're probably right. I reckon I'm just fed up with LSU's atrocious qb play. Its so bad I can't even enjoy it.

If it makes you feel any better, it doesn’t really matter who the coach is here or anywhere else in the sec. As long as the little man is at Bama, everyone else is sucking hind tit.

There's no doubt. But get ready to get blasted for saying so. We've got some guys here living in a delusional phase.

QBs are not developed, they either have it or don't. Their skills can be polished but you need a QB who has it. Just look at numerous QBs who were big play makers as true freshmen.

Maybe we are looking in the wrong place at passing game troubles. While I will agree that Les screwed too much with QB's, it takes two to tango on the field and I'm thinking that maybe it has also been a problem with the receivers and their route running as well. It really was not until the last part of 2016 that our receivers stated to show they were any good.

Also, I thought Etling did a pretty good job last year in terms of what he was asked to do. Maybe he cost us the Alabama game but overall he managed games well and hit the receivers when he had to. I really cannot blame him for the MSU game, that was a team effort and the Troy game had as much to do with the defense as anything the offense did

This is another case of everyone acting like there are 2 choices.

1. Future NFLer
2. Pathetic QB.

You can play some really good football with a guy who ain't gonna be good in the NFL!

Georgia and Alabama had no problem doing it. I understand where you're coming from but Brennan looked like a deer in the headlights and he was the back up. His first game he couldn't remember to put his mouthpiece in and the next game he played he didn't have the awareness to realize it was fourth down after running on 3rd and 14. Say what you want but with his pedigree he should have shown a little better than he did. He hasn't separated himself from the other QB's in spring which should concern the coaches and fans.

I think it's a little early to critique this coaching staff. Whether you want to believe it are not Ogeron was forced to hire an Ocoordinator and Kiffin was who he wanted, he had to settle for Canada. He also took a job that has them thin on on both sides of the ball on the line. He may not pan out but it's still early to tell about staff. Everyone thought Texas new coach would set the world on fire and it didn't happen. This season will tell the story, especially with all the inexperience on both sides of the ball and QB issues as usual not to mention a brutal schedule unlike BAMA's cake walk schedule. Even Saban would struggle facing LSU's opponenets this coming season.

Aside from everyone saying that none of the QBs are ready... do we even know if the coaches can even make an accurate assessment?

None of that's true.

O didn't have to hire Canada. LSU had the highest paid coords in the country last year. They could have gotten anybody but Kiffin.

O didn't have a backup plan is what you meant. Imagine that.

Where do you think Brennan and Narcise were ranked coming out of HS? I will give you a hint, genius: both were pretty high. Why are we acting like we don't have two talented QBs on our roster that were recently recruited?

You tell me what CFB coaches are not only putting QBs in the NFL, but are consistently putting good ones there, I'll wait.

You get them to the NFL. After that it's up to the teams to groom them.

This seems to be like rocket science to coaching staffs and team culture at an LSU stuck on sling shots.
