Espn showing us some love. I want our team to show up and dominate like this prediction shows.

The Tigers certainly have the talent. LSU has stacked four consecutive top six recruiting classes together, per the 247Sports Composite and returns a Heisman Trophy favorite in Leonard Fournette.

Wow I just looked back at that 2013 class because I was puzzled at how it was 6 or better. White ,Beckwith, and Pocic were the headliners of course.

Rashard Robinson - kicked off
Melvin Jones - grades?
Jeryl Brazil - kicked off
Hayden Rettig - transfer
Avery Peterson - transfer
John Diarse - transfer
Maquedius Bain - kicked off
DeSean Smith - can't see the field
Kevin Spears - can't see the field
Michael Patterson - can't see the field
Fehoko Fanaika - JC meh
Logan Stokes - JC meh
Quantavious Leslie - JC Lol
Anthony Jennings - LOL
Josh Boutte - may play this year
Andy Dodd - might play this year
Frank Herron - underwhelming
Greg Gilmore - underwhelming
Duke Riley - played to his ranking 3*
KJ Malone - played slightly above ranking
Rickey Jefferson - average player
Christian Lacouture - good player
Tashawn Bower - coming along nicely
John David Moore - unranked/Monster FB
Lewis Neal - 3* who is becoming great

White, Pocic, and Beckwith have fit the bill. Neal has outperformed his ranking. JD Moore may be the best FB in the country and was unranked. Bower is getting better and better. Lacouture has lived up to most of his ranking. Looking at all the transfers, players kicked off, and just plain out bust this class as a whole was a huge bust.

This offseason reminds me a ton of the 2007 and 2011 offseason. LSU is going to get a ton of hype due to the returning starters and overall talent. It should be a great year.

I agree with this whole thing except i think ricky jefferson is better than average, i think aranda will put him in position to make huge plays if he starts at safety this year. No saying he will be great, but i think he will be a good senior starter on the team.

Dude, that is what almost every recruiting class looks like: you got eight or nine solid contributors including three or four studs. We only start 22 spread amongst 4 classes

With a continuing black hole at QB and little depth at LB? This team folded like a cheap suit when shht hit the fan,and the same cast of characters are back.

These rankings are based off of two factors:

1) We have Fournette
2) Everyone else doesn't

Let's just hope that the coaching staff finds creative ways to use all this horsepower so we play for championship.

And they still lose to Ole Miss and need a lot of luck to get in.

I don't think we should expect anything less than the elite coaching we have received for the past decade.

silly response. I'm sure the poster loves the Tigers as much as you, but he's just questioning issues on the team.

Of course we all hope Harris progresses, the offense flourishes, and our LBs play well.

But it's not sacrilege to at least bring up those issues.

So every recruiting class has 7 highly rated recruits kicked out/transfer and 3 Juco guys that didn't do a damn thing? Every class has 10 recruits that don't contribute shite? This class was a bust dude. Not a talent bust, but an attitude bust.

Edit: Matter of fact I retract my statement. Looking at Herron, Gilmore, Bain, Jennings, Boutte, Dodd, Smith, and their rankings this class was just a bust all the way around.
