Was that the "Mud Bowl" game?

The worst field conditions I've ever seen a football game played on. Beyond horrendous.

I'm not about to help the Big Ten out by giving them viewership. No thanks.

Anyone saying they "forgot" how bad the field was , completely forgot this game was even played. The entire story of this bowl game was the field.
I was at this game and I watched the LSU players come out in pregame and just shake their heads in disgust and disapproval. Nobody could cut or move with any precision . Totally negated our athleticism advantage . We were defeated before that game even started. Field looked like a post grinding cane field.
On a side note , it rained so hard and so much before kickoff , I fried a cell phone inside my rain gear hahahhaha

That was my first bowl game marching in Tiger Band. I nearly ate shite like 10 times during pregame. They didn't even let us march halftime. We just had to stand still and play.
Apparently they laid out new sod after the bowl game there a few days before and because of all the rain it never had time to set.

Every time a player hit the ground in pregame they left a divot. That entire area was a shite hole though tbh

That game should never have been played. That field was the worst thing I've ever seen. It's amazing we didn't have any major injuries on it

i was there and the weather/field conditions were horrible. Couldn't believe during halftime they actually had both bands on the field. Was typical Les Miles ending players having no idea what to do,lost and ole Les with the Duh look.
