Listening to the game on the radio while in the stadium Chris and Doug mentioned this ... It sounded like this was WAY out of the norm and they sounded concerned.

Hell, there's also studies that suggest ankle taping leads to more knee injuries. Lose the "give" in the ankle and the knee takes the burden.

I guess I haven't noticed, but I thought it was required for all offensive linemen to wear a knee brace on each knee?

It sounds like nobody has ever played on the line before. The braces are to prevent your legs from bending ways that they shouldn't. And when you are going up against guys who are 250+ they help a lot for your foundation. O-Line should always be wearing knee braces. They make them pretty comfortable now and I'm sure LSU has supplied the best they can get.

They help prevent roll up injuries. I would want the extra protection.
