LSU needs to add a proven quarterback coach for quarterback development.I can't see anything changing offensively unless this is done.Matt Flynn was the best quarterback Miles had but he was a Saban recruit. Zack Mettenberger 's last season was pretty good, but miles has struggled to develop quarterbacks basically his whole tenure at LSU. A top quarterback coach to focus solely on developing quarterbacks would go a long way in the Tigers quest for an SEC Championship and possibly national championship.

It might just be happening. The NCAA is debating a rule change to allow an extra coaching position. And before anyone mentions "Brick Haley", Miles was specifically asked that in regards to the rule change, and was quoted as saying "We have four coaches on defense. I feel that's enough."

If you aren't an alter then you need to start watching more football and Read up on Cam Cameron's resume and Mettenberger before he got here.

Without Cam we do not real in Harris. I don't think he came here for LSU alone.

Just like I don't think we get Jennings without Cam. Nor do Franks and Patterson consider us with Cam.

You talk about developing qbs, but then say that a player was someone else's recruit. He was developed during Mile's tenure. So was Jamarcus. So was Mett. Perriloux could've saved a lot of history if he wasn't an idiot. So all in all, we potentially should have had pretty damn good qb play save this past season during The Miles years.

And oh yeah, he's not the QB coach....so the "Miles doesn't develop qbs" line is tired. We've had better than half his time here with pretty good QB play. And that's a fact.

Oh yeah, and last year sucked.

So what does it say that LSU has had 5 of its 7 best passing years in its history under Miles? Is it just the times or has LSU just never passed the ball? Ever

It says you don't know how to critically apply statistics.

Jennings committed before we hired cam Cameron. Maybe we get JT Barret or Jeremy Johnson instead, but we didn't. Harris is cams guy.

so getting top recruits equals what? Let's look at his two seasons at LSU's offensive coordinator. First season ok, second season, terrible. look at Jennings stats from Outback Bowl and Music City Bowl. where's the quarterback development I don't see it.

the fact is, LSU not having a good quarterback is the reason Nick Saban has three national championships, and Miles has one.

Keep this in mind if you think LSU is in the midst of a certain decline. You are agreeing with Rex. Rex.

If the guy who tutored George Effin' Whitfield doesn't count as a proven QB Coach, I don't know who would fit the criteria.

...and that's why Les chose Jamarcus over him. As he did JJ over Lee. As he did AJ over BHarris. Ah yes, the picture is becoming very clear.
