I can go along with that. But the holidays excuse doesn't hold water.
Its not cool to go to bball games like it use to be. Hell last year if u sat down low you were a nerd.
We need the students in there to breath life in the pmac. When its rocking its awesome. But when not showing up the threads and bitching about the placement of the ss doesn't make sense. Its the students own fault they lost the midcourt seats.

Yeah and look at it from their perspective. We haven't been good since all of these students have been in college. And only those from here know what it used to be like. Until we play a big opponent and its an important game WHILE the students are on campus, what would you expect them to show against McNeese?

we are not as good as that team right now. we have the potential to be, but playing McNeese wont draw crowds. we won't pack the pmac until we start beating big teams. simple as that

I drove 2.5 hours over Christmas break one year to watch us get beat by Louisville on a fricking half court prayer. It was Louisville though.

I meant 'that' in comparison to the days when my parents were at LSU.

The rest of the pmac is allowed to be gone for the holidays or not care cause its an in state school. Not the students though

Then just say that you are two hours away. But as I said earlier, there are thousands of students that live within 25 minutes of campus. It's a shame that 1000 can't show?
The same people crying "holidays", are the same ones saying that LSU football games are for the students, and they should be allowed to yell obscenities if they want. Well the students suck at supporting "their" basketball team.
Turn on a tv during the week, and watch the support other good teams get.

The "season ticket holders" have stepped their game up this year. The students are still either not showing, or are too cool to be seen cheering for "their" team.
