LSU messed around and really built the best defensive staff in the country.

I’ll never doubt Woodward. Ever.

He has proven time and time again he is an elite AD and in my opinion the best one in the country.

I would like to see some results on the field before I go that far, but I certainly like the direction!

The defense can’t go anywhere but up!

Time will tell, but I sure like the way things are headed.

I’m excited. I think we all are.

But I also think it may take a year or two for our defense to get back to levels we’re all happy with.

I think the expectation for 2024 is the defense to get back into the Top50ish

You must also give Tate credit. He’s been a staunch supporter of athletics, in particular football.

Just opens the checkbook and writes a gargantuan check to a head coach, then gives coach the checkbook and tells him there’s no such thing as a bad check and to go on a shopping spree buying the most expensive coaches and players he can buy.

It’s a job I could do really.

Still don’t completely understand firing Raymond in the first place?

Teams will still score 30+ and Nuss will have to just score more. He will no doubt.

Fun fact: outside of the co-dc year LSU fans have always thought our staff was the best ever.

Doubt it but defenses that hold teams to less than 15 points aren’t around. Just need 4-5 stops of your game fence is worth a dime

A defense that good with an offense nearly as good as what we had last season (long shot), and that’s a playoff team.

I wouldn't say it's the best defensive staff in the country. It's just my opinion, results will tell the tale.

Florida offered him a better title and more money. He wasn’t fired or even let go. Kelly just didn’t bend over to keep him.

NOT EVERYBODY loves Raymond - as posters note only results on the field will show if all the Coaching $$$$$ gets LSU to the playoffs

Very feasible feat if the D Coaches can just bring that side of the team to a competent midling range - Nuss proved in the bowl game he can handle 4th-Quarter pressure and win and our TE + WR + OL should all be pretty solid
