In PMAC tonight vs #22 Ole Miss (15-1)

Currently 82% of public is on LSU -3 & LSU ML (-150)

EM spread on this game is Ole Miss +25 (that is team rating spread and not points spread). LSU has one win this season when the spread was 10 or greater, and that was A&M.

Ole Miss is probably not as good as their record or ranking. That being said, LSU's two conference wins have a combined conference record of 1-6 (will be 7 after Vandy plays Auburn tonight). Although the one win was A&M over Kentucky.

Ole Miss isnt as good as their record but unless they have some kind of injury I dont know about there's no reason they shouldnt win this game unless they play like total crap.

Can you explain this a little better?

LSU was a +11.5 dog at A&M, but won by 15.

Now they’re -3 favorites

That's not point spread. EM is an advanced analytics team rating similar to KenPom, but it goes deeper into the analytics than KenPom. It can't really be tied back to points spread by Vegas, which are nonsensical at times.

So I’m assuming EM have Ole Miss +25 means LSU is the better team or is it the opposite?
Trying to relate that to the points spread

Yes, it views Ole Miss as being much better than LSU.

I got that from CBS Sports, but maybe that hasn’t been updated.

This is what Draftkings is currently showing.

These are the games in college basketball where the “better team” doesn’t win usually. Look at all the road losses from top ten teams to mediocre opponents this year.

It is hard to win on the road in CBB.
I thought it was wild that K-state was favored at home vs #9 Baylor last night & ksu won.

I think this most likely happens, but Vandy’s weird arse stadium gives everyone fits and they win games they shouldn’t there all the time.
