I'm seriously considering it. Trying to talk myself out of it as I could put the $250 or so to better use right now...

yeah i hear ya, ive never been, but i know it would be awesome. the game is at 4 on saturday so i guess id leave thursday nite and drive through the nite and come home sunday?

I was looking at flights into LEX on Saturday morning and leaving Sunday mid morning.
I've been to Lexington before. Not too much to do unless there are some races or you want to drive to the bourbon tours...
If I drove, I'd prob leave around 2 on Friday...

days inn, 3 miles from rupp, would be 163 total for fri and sat nites...i mapquested it from slidell, it says 11 hours but that counts losing an hour for time zone change

Take a look at the University Inn . Its across the street from Campus, and about 10 min from Rupp. Good neighborhood, continental bfast, clean and comfortable rooms.

frick no i'm not going...this game is way too expensive...gotta save up for tampa, 1st, 2nd round & sweet 16 beyond

my father has 4 tickets in rupp for the rest of family history name, yea long story my whole family is from lexington, if we need extra tickets let me know i am only using two if any brave souls are making the trip up....
