I agree with you I am a tiger who has lived in 10 states since I graduated. I am always rocking Lsu gear and get love all over the place. There are a lot of people out there who love Louisiana for a variety of reasons, Katrina, swamp people, the best food in the world, whatever the reason people love Louisiana. If nothing else we are Damm entertaining under miles! Fan or not you gotta love the drama we get ourselves In to and out of. Geaux Damm Tigers.

LSU > Alabama at OL, WR, DL, TE. Tie at CB, S

Eric Reid and Craig Loston are both top caliber SEC safetys already, as is Brandon Taylor. They haven't reached super-stardom yet and both of Bama's safeties will go into the year with more prestigious reputations than our own.

Us LSU fans all think this, but like most LSU fans... you've seen every big play TM7 and Claiborne have made and you don't think that other schools have players out there doing the same thing. Claiborne is going to be the only first-team preseason all sec player @ LSU. Let me explain this to you: According to people who watch all the teams in the SEC, theres a better player at every position except CB in the SEC.

Seriously people. LSU is loaded with talent. Our defense is amazing, but a lot of this has to do with Chavis as well.

You can take whatever angle you want, but Bama has the 'highest rated' players in the country. The difference is so small between us, bama, florida, and some other schools in the sec year to year that it really does come down to who plays better that day, and who has the better gameplan.

Also, as for the DL statement. Bama only plays 3 DL at a time... learn the difference between defensive schemes dude.

Finally, everyone just remember what we said to Auburn about Nick Fairly and how he was probably nothing compared to Drake Nevis. Fairly and Marcell Darius both finished with way better years and as higher ranked defensive lineman than Drake. Drake is an amazing player though, but just remember, this is the SEC and there is plenty of talent to go around.

Don't be a moron. I think LSU should finish first next year as well, but just because LSU is so talented doesn't mean there aren't other teams in the SEC just as talented. Two sec teams went to BCS bowls last year, and we were not one of them.

I agree with all of this. Breaks and a VERY TIRED D is what had LSU lose to Arky. The D was dead tired after the Ole Miss game and got beat by An Arky team that had an explosive offense. With BETTER QB play this year , the D can spend more time on the bench. But as far as talent I still say after looking at the rosters that LSU has more talent than anyone in the SEC[EXCEPT QB] Don't like saying that [about qb] but its true.

LSU may not be the best football program in America, but we are certainly one of the top ten programs.

Keep up with any recruiting at all and the answer is Bama. Bama is the most talented team in the nation. Doesn't mean they are the best or that they will beat LSU. Talent alone, Bama is #1. That being said, I think LSU wins this year by 10.

I really question whether you read this board or watch LSU on TV.The media and fans say the coach is a moron and the QB is an idiot.I haven't read on this board or heard on TV that LSU is an elite program. All I've heard or read is LSU has the worst coach that has a problem with time management, making adjustments during the game, weirdo who eats grass and LSU should fire him.Again, I don't know what board you have been reading or what TV station you have been watching but not one that said LSU or their coach,QB or football team was elite.Actually, just the opposite.

Bama is YOUNGER than LSU. LSU is VERY DEEP at ALL positions. AND has WAY more team speed. LSU>>>>>>>>Bama as far as talent. I would EVEN say FLA has more talent than Bama. It just needs to be coached right.

You're not going to find a bigger Tiger fan than me, but you're crazy if you think we're more talented than Bama or Florida. we are one of the most talented in the country, but you are talking out of your arse.

Alabama

According to Scout and Rivals, Alabama's recruiting classes were ranked ahead of LSU since 2007.So, based on the standard that most recruiting experts use, one would say Alabama has better talent and many people say a better coach.

Jesus. Every team is tired for the 12th game of the season. That is loser talk and what you are saying makes LSU fans seem like idiots.

OK. Do YOU realize that if LSU had a more efficient offense during the season, Instead of ALL those three and outs the D may have had a bit more at the end??? Were you AT the Ole Miss game?? The D looked VERY tired. And it carried over to the Arky game.

I'd say its a powerhouse at this point, not the premier college football program though. USC, Ohio State, Michigan, UF, and probably Notre Dame still have greater recognition than us.
