Based on pure talent alone, I feel like there is no team in the country that's better. Now, please don't misunderstand me, I do not think we are the BEST TEAM in the country. At least, not yet.
See, I feel like, as most of you do, that talent has not been utilized. However, I also feel that the biggest thing we've lacked for awhile is passion. These guys ain't been fired up... At least, until last Saturday...
Coach O woke something up. Some kinda spark was lit. We didn't get comfortable at halftime. We played harder. And that was amazing.
Guys, this is a new team. I truly think this season is gonna be incredible..

Let's review this post after three weeks going into the bye week.

I'm leaning your way, but I'm not sold yet.

It's definitely a top five team for talent. The best? We'll see...

Every single recruiting site says bama is the most talented. We are top 10 sure, but let's not go crazy

We beat Mizzou. They're terrible.

We were #2 in the country at this time last year and were ready to fire a coach 2 months later.

Let's slow down a bit

Agreed. We're supposed to beat Mizzou at home.

Beating Florida on the road will be a good test for Coach O and this team.

And the NFL says LSU is. The best evidence of talent is how many players are going to the NFL. Since 2012, LSU players have occupied 124 roster spots on NFL teams. The next closest in that period is bama with 112 roster spots.

QB
DL (undersized in SEC)
These are the position groups we don't have the very best of the best in IMO. Any other unit could be argued.

These are 2 pretty important units to play championship football.

And its dumb to count just nfl.
Tim Tebow doesnt count towards UF's nfl talent. I guess he wasnt talented.
Vince Young doesnt count towards Texas' nfl talent.

Bama's 2016 draft class was almost as big as our last 2 draft classes combined.

We do not have the best DL or OL in the country...and although DE is better than what we had, he is not the best QB in the SEC probably...but out team is maturing and getting an energy boost right now...I'm more like Coach O, one game at a time...one days at a time..."it's the process"...stay focused at the task at hand and that Florida...Go Tigers!

And which is why I said since 2012, LSU players have occupied 124 roster spots. Whats so hard for you clowns to understand about that? Its a very recent time period. For the past few years, LSU has had at least as much talent as anyone. And it appears the NFL feels that way too.
