And which is why I said since 2012, LSU players have occupied 124 roster spots. Whats so hard for you clowns to understand about that?

Everyone understands it.
What I'm saying is that our last 2 draft classes were nothing special.

We have not had as much talent as bama. There are several sec programs that recruit just as well as lsu.

And it appears the NFL feels that way too.

Again, I guess Tim Tebow and Vince Young werent talented because they dont represent roster spots for their alma mater.

Exactly. They use nfl players to determine how talented a team is and that nfl talent doesnt playfor the program.
Our last 2 draft classes prove that after 2013 our talent wasnt overwhelming and the talent we did have were freshman sophomores.

Maybe top ten. We aren't the best. Maybe the best at a few positions but that's it.

Nothing to do with this years team. But as I said, since 2012 I gave you the numbers. The numbers in that time period indicate that LSU is at least as talented as anyone in the country and have been on average every year. Slight dips from year to year, sure. But LSU has had every bit as much talent as bama since 2012, yet hasn't had similar results.

You could make an argument that this is why Les finally got fired. I made the argument before the season that this team was the most talented we had on paper going into a season that I can remember. May not be the best with two losses, but with LF, it's hard to argue we aren't top 2-3 in talent.

Recruiting classes don't mean nothing. So what if Bama wins 8 recruiting titles. My eyes tell me we are just as talented as them if not more.

Sure they were talented, and they aren't factored in to their schools' roster numbers during the recent years I spoke of. At one time or another, since 2012 former LSU players occupied 124 NFL roster spots, more than any other college team by a dozen. LSU is the most talented team in the country.

No we are not. The only people that think lsu is the most talented team in cfb are idiots.
As ive said... Bama's 2016 draft class was almost as big as our 2014 &2015 classes combined.

Also it dumb as hell to use current nfl players to determine a current cfb program's talent.

And the NFL says LSU is. The best evidence of talent is how many players are going to the NFL. Since 2012, LSU players have occupied 124 roster spots on NFL teams. The next closest in that period is bama with 112 roster spots.

This...and it isn't even close. Not to mention Louisiana, per capita, puts more players in the NFL than any other state.

bullshite.

Bama's last 2 draft classes= 15
LSU's LAST 3 draft classes= 17
These are the last 4 recruiting classes. As you can see the gap between lsu and bama is bigger than the gap between lsu and ole miss.

ETA: im still waiting on you tell me how lsu players that went into the nfl from 2005-2013 somehow makes us the most talented team today.
By your logic miami is still talented as hell. They have lots of players on nfl rosters.

LSU is top heavy on talent. LSU'S 5 best players are the best in the country when compared to any other schools 5 best.

Fournette, Key, Adams, Beckwith, & White would all start for most NFL teams right now.

Recruiting sites like Rivals and Scout mean nothing unless you can actually transition the talent to the NFL ranks.

It's similar to HS, you can talk all you want about how this player or that player is All-State or even a Parade All-American, but if they don't play up to their potential in College, it means absolutely nothing.

The NFL is the best indication of how talented a team is and LSU ranks #1. Bama ranked #2 has the benefit of having the Best Coach in the NCAA and a few of Louisiana's best players.

If you meant recruiting classes, we were #3 and #6.

If you meant NFL draft, we have a ton of first second and third rounders on our team.

Either way you don't know what you're talking about.

5 star recruits make it to the nfl 49% of the time.
There are 1500 recruits on average each year. Recruiting sites pick about 30 of those to be 5 star athletes. To pick 30 out of 1500 and be right 49% of the time is great. 5 star recruits matter.

No its not. Lsu players on a nfl rosters have no affect what so ever in how talented the current team is.

Also,

BAMA'S LAST 2 CLASSES=15
LSU'S LAST 3 CLASSES=17

Ha ha. We have had 9 players drafted the last 2 years.
Bama had 7 drafted in 2016 alone.
Bama's 2015&2016 classes are almost as big as lsu's last 3 classes combined.

Anyone that says we have as much talent as bama, has no clue what they are talking about.
