4 loses by a total of 23 points, considering how well the defense has played all year and how well the offense has come around since coach O took over, Is it too far of a stretch to believe LSU is the 3rd best team in the country?

False. LSU has probably the best or at worst 2nd best D in the country and a very mediocre offense with outstanding skill position players.
Canada could change that but this year's offense was hardly NC caliber.
