I agree with you. Most of us know lackluster play when we see it, win or lose. This has been my complaint with Miles and the team all year. McNeese State game - we barely showed up.
Florida -- pretty good. Alabama -- fair in first half, very good in second half.
I like what I saw in the second half of the 'Bama game. If LSU can maintain that level of play, we can beat most anybody.

Why would we? These games are on the schedule to allow us to rest and recuperate from the rigors of the SEC. That game's outcome was never in question, even when we were down early.

Someone disputes this with facts and you say:
Make up your mind. Are we talking "elite" program or "elite-level talent, resources, etc" Are we talking "never has been" or "over the past decade".
You don't get to just change your premise because the facts dispute it!

I bow to your superior fan abilities that let you not care about how the team actually plays for 60 minutes each week as long as you can brag about the record at the end of the year. Seems like you would care more about your time than that, but whatever.
But hey numbnuts, this is my thread to praise Miles for putting together a team that played up to its ability and beat what I believe to be a very good team in impressive fashion. Miles coached a great game, and the team played well for him and it's worth saying, especially by people who are almost always critical of Miles.
