I feel this and its a problem. A better coach would be able to at least harness a better effort. Jones though is a retard so its hopeless, he is actually a better coach when we have dog shite for talent.

no jump shot, doesn't score against the top ranked team in the last 10 minutes of a game, can't bury clutch free throws. He is a great player but he has some flaws. He also keeps trying to dish it and the rest of the team doesn't want to finish. At some point he needs to completely take over. The kid was sold as the next lebron that is some huge hype to fill up.

TQ
Hornsby
Blakeney
Simmons
Victor

Even with good and bad TQ, this team is pretty talented. This is a top 15 roster with an even higher ceiling. We are 15 points better than Bama at home with equal coaching/planning/motivation.

I miss z on c. Much better poster then this imposter.

And the state of the program is that we're currently second in the conference with three bottom dwellers, a team that's hit or miss, and Kentucky left.

Simmons has no moves to the basket. It's the same thing over and over again. One dribble, maybe a little in-and-out dribble, use his body to shield the defender from the ball, then throw up some wild right-handed shot.

It's why he gets a lot of offensive fouls. Not only do the defenders know that he's not going to shoot it from the outside, they know the exact dribble move he is going to make too.

Obviously he's really good, so he scores/gets fouled a lot. But his game is extremely lacking. Dude needs NBA coaching. Hopefully, for his sake, it's not in Philadelphia.

I don't believe this. Keith Tim and tone missed open jump shot after open jump shot. Victor and Ben are good sure.

Patterson has gone to shite and gray can only play defense now

It's a top 15 starting five, MAYBE.

It's absolutely not a top 15 roster.

Not gonna say Johnny Jones is blameless, because a lot is on him.

But sometimes a "superstar" does whatever the frick he wants, because he knows the coach doesn't have the leverage. You see this a lot in the NBA, and it's filtering down to college ball. Last year, I remember watching Karl Anthony Townes clown around and basically mock Calipari after a game, during Coach Cal's interview on the court. These kids know they have the coaches by the balls.

I don't think Jones can tell Simmons a damn thing, and I think it's affecting the rest of the team as far as consistency. And I really don't think Simmons gives half a care about LSU, so long as he gets to highlight his profound basketball IQ by making slick passes etc.

Simmons isn't LeBron, or even KState Michael Beasley at this point in his development, despite the ridiculous hype.

That said, bring back John Brady.

I know two people inside the program very well, and they independently tell me basically what you just said. They both said he is talented, but has absolutely no drive for this season's performance because he doesn't give a damn about LSU, and while he's here he is basically going through the motions, especially in practice.

Kid has statistically done what no one else has as a freshman in the SEC; and after a bad game tonight, you jump on the overrated bandwagon?

Kick rocks, wizard.

So lsu replaces mickey and Martin with the most highly rated player since lebron, added big man in Victor who can shoot, and a 5 star sharpshooter...factoring everyone from last year is still on the team thus gained valuable experience and this team still get cant get it together to make a run..guess we blame the players
