BATON ROUGE – The hot wide receiver in spring practice at LSU was not Travin Dural, Trey Quinn, John Diarse or Malachi Dupre.

Try Darrell Chark Jr., better known as D.J., of Alexandria Senior High in Alexandria. As a true freshman last season, he caught zero passes in six games. Through two spring scrimmages, Chark has caught so many touchdown passes that LSU coach Les Miles has lost count.

“He caught two or three today,” Miles said. There was also a touchdown reception from quarterback Brandon Harris in LSU’s first spring scrimmage.

LSU has a great game plan running the ball opens the receivers, burns the clock ,wears out and destroys defensive backs !

To bad we are so flicking loaded with same game plan[/quote]

Boy you hit the nail on the head bro' and by the time we finally terminate our run,run and run game plan and get a true 5 star QB we probably won't be able to get a 3 star receiver.

The WR corps last year was VERY inexperienced. Talent is only a part of the equation.

Dupre and Dural are an incredible tandem by themselves. Quinn as your third option really solidifies the squad.

All of the sudden add a speedy deep threat like Chark, and things get scary quick.

Don't forget about the #1 WR in the country, Tyron Johnson.

I think this kid has the potential to be a star. His speed separates him from others.

I just hope Chark doesn't become the Herron of last year's fall camp.
