the difference between CPMs last 5 years and Smokes last 5 years is that, he is trending upwards. Smoke trended downwards. CPM is going no-where for a while. Especially if he continues to put together Top 5 recruiting classes, top 8 seeds and Omaha appearances.

Funny thing. Cannizaro is a former Tulane player and Schlossnagle is a former Tulane assistant under Rick Jones.

We just got beat 10-3. Forgive us who are not in the mood to be looking on the bright side. I don't understand fans who completely ignore what hust happened because to acknowledge it would just be "too negative." We lost. It sucks. We'll rally and be ready for round 2 and cheer like crazy for our beloved team but for the love of God can those of us with a soul lament for 5 minutes without one of you pumping sunshine?

In th spirit of facts, you didn't get beat. LSU baseball just got beat, and I'll put cold hard cash on the fact that they all feel much worse about it than you do, and it doesn't matter if it was 10-3 or 4-3. It's still just a loss.
Furthermore, I'm far from a sunshine pumper. I deal in realities as well, and the realities are a very uphill battle. I'm fully cognizant of that, but I prefer to look for a more positive approach because it's not over yet, and because like negativity, it also is highly infectious.
LSU might very well lose, but I don't have to.

I hate our spoiled fanbase.. The college game has changed so much over the last 10 years or so.. LSU used to get the best of the rest. But that is not the case anymore....

To be fair, Les did rebuild and returned to the championship game at least.
Les did everything thing possible to screw up that special season. What happened after we got out of the gate 8-0 with JL and then screwing up the "Offensive Chemistry" by inserting JJ for the final four games and the NC debacle is inexcusable.
Many die hard LSU Fans and Alums have never gotten over this or forgiven LM for it either.
The program has been on a steady decline since then too, with the many reasons for the fall discussed on here ad nauseum.............
