And our losses are to two teams that are both 5-3.

So basically, we've done one thing of note this year, beat Auburn, and failed in our other two games against teams with a pulse. And it a rain storm for us to do that, since as soon as it stopped raining, and Auburn stopped fumbling, they outplayed us.

No wonder so many feel so negative.

We have the opportunity to beat two teams of note in the coming weeks. Or we can be a .500 SEC team. Its as simple as that.

Finishing 10-2 with wins over A&M, and number 1 Bama, the mood of the LSU fans would be drastically different than 8-4. Not to mention how important this year of recruiting is.

Considering so many feel like its championship or bust, wins over Bama and A&M would go a long way towards pacifying the overly negative fans.

Glad that point is too obvious for you, but since so many are spending time fighting the negativity instead of just letting it run its course and the season play-out, I figured it would need to be said.

Notice you don't have anything of value to say, so you just pile onto others posts. We have 1 win agqinst a team with a winning record. How sad is that to this point in the season?

See I wouldn't have a problem with this thread, but your true intentions came out when you made an excuse for our only win.

Both teams played in the rain. Both teams experienced the field conditions. Only difference? LSU felt the need to play not to lose at a certain point. Auburn didn't.

But preach on, brah. We all needed to hear this from you!!

Since it seems like you aren't that familiar with how recruiting works, our record this year will have more of an impact with the 2015 class, not the class we are currently recruiting to sign in 2014.

Really? So, of Florida, Auburn, and Ms State, only one of these has a winning record now? (I'm not even looking at the others we've beaten). OP, really?

Try looking at their overall records since yesterday's games. They are all .500 or below.

And Florida is not likely to end the season over .500 with FSU and USC remaining.

Since it seems you're not familiar with the remaining undecided top recruits in our own freakin' state for this year, I'll just remind you nicely. Hopefully you can understand that the direction and momentum of the program can be a big factor, espeically when 3-peat monster Bama is also calling on them.

I understand how recruiting works. Thanks though. Perhaps you should brush up on it.

I have no intention, but to not understand that our lead was built during a fluke rain storm would not do the game justice. We were outplayed once the weather normalized. Were their other factors? Sure, the team came out lethargic in the second half with the lead. We'll never know how we would have played had it been a close game during the good weather, but the facts remain the facts. We also responded when we needed to, and thats the one positive of that second half.

Seems to me that your entire post is the opposite of letting the season play out. Imhofwiwgfydiaf
