No not powerhouses but upper echelon teams. Wisconsin won the big ten 3 years in a row from 2010 to 2012 that's pretty damn good before that they had 3 conf titles since the 60s. Stanford had never won 11 games til Harbaugh took over then shaw succeeded him by winning 3 PAC-12 titles which hasn't happened since the 20s. I'd say that's pretty good too.

You make good points here but once a team starts winning as we saw here money starts to come in support grows facilities can be built to bolster recruiting. I don't know if there is a definitive answer to this question but there are plenty examples of both. Meyer couldn't maintain because of health and too much criminal activity and Florida didn't really fall off under him they had huge success and then had a couple decent years, nothing really bad. I think he will maintain at ohio state.

It will be much easier for him to maintain at Ohio st. He ended up leaving Florida because they sucked after tebow left.. The health was a secondsry thing. He will win a couple more big ten titles and harbaugh will run him off to mitre dame where he will coach until he retires.

I think Harbaugh is a great coach and I believe he'll win some big ten titles at Mich but I think you're underestimating Meyer. He's a great coach he's an ohio state guy and I don't think Harbaugh will run him off. I think those 2 will be the pillars of that conf for years to come.
