Barbaree is the real deal. I played some with him locally when he was coming up. He dominated the junior golf circuit around here starting back when he was in the 4th grade at one of the local private schools. He has since raised his game to an entirely different level and WILL help bring another NC to LSU with Burns and company along side him.

I am curious as to whether that really was the correct ruling for his opponent---getting that second drop which moved his ball out of the dirt and all the way over to the grass. Seemed like a bad deal for Barbaree, and felt like "home cooking" for the Hilton Head kid.

Do you think the David Toms practice facility is contributing to the number of Shreveport guys that are ranked in the top of the junionr/amateur rankings, or is it just a weird coincidence?

It can't be...according to most of the a=holes on this site, nothing good ever comes out of Shreveport.
