Say what you want about LSU’s season: that it was encouraging, that it was a disappointment, that the Tigers are miles away from contention, that the Tigers are closer than you think to contention. LSU has a chance to get its ninth win of the season on Dec. 30 in Nashville, which would be far from a disappointment.

If Tigers wants want to see what disappointment really looks like, they can take a look at their bowl opponent.

Interesting read from Saturday Down South. Dont see this game being close at all.

It will definitely be close. It's not our style to blow out teams.

Keep it close, try to win it in the 4th. That's our style.

Yep - the current pattern is to play not to lose instead of playing to win and dominate.

It's not just the coaches, though. Maybe it's a trickle down effect. Who knows. But the players are just as much at fault for this. Penalties. Unforced mistakes. Missed FGs. 3rd down drops. Several critical long 3rd down conversions given up on D. These issues definitely cost us the Bama game, and could have lead to losses against UF, Ole Miss. and A&M.

And that would be a great ending to this season.

LSU might push ND all around and beat them up but still won't score that many points. Just how it is.

yes, we will alternate between the run, run, pass, punt offense and our other offense, the run, run, run, punt offense until we are down in the 4th. Then we will switch to the shotgun/pistol formation and start throwing it around, use misdirection on running plays, and do the things other college and pro teams do on offense and suddenly start moving the ball, take the lead and win pulling away. We have to get down by at least 10 or we may just keep grinding our way to defeat.

We can't take anyone for granted with our offensive philosophy. Not trying to flame, but a pick six or scoop-n-score could do it, especially if it's super cold.

I expect our offensive line to get a nice push, but we'll still have to throw it.

We may rush the equivalent of the Louisiana coast line on them.

If LSU loses, Miles should be fired.

As long as Les Miles is standing on our sideline, it will be painfully close! Like clockwork!
