LSU football from an Aggie's perspective.

Don't say you don't give a damn what an Aggie thinks because you read the Subject line and clicked to see.
Texas A&M fans think LSU has a great football program that never actually seems to decline. Since the 2007 NC, your program has had the reputation of THE football team others are most concerned to play. The mystique of Tiger Stadium is real.
Your offense is very precise in the passing game and thus fully capable of establishing the run with relative ease. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be this good. It could be one of the soundest pro-style offenses in college.
The defense is very athletic and well-coached. They surround the ball on most every play. They're getting better too. Lose 11 to the NFL, then add a future 11 NFLers to replace them. That's just the way it appears. And, it's not just talent.
Overall, Les Miles is tremendously underrated as a coach. He is the most important thing a coach can be. He's "effective". To our disappointment, your program will never decline with Les Miles as the head coach.
From my point of view, you are the front runner. I believe, with no proof, that Alabama fans are actually very concerned, if not fearful, of your matchup with them.
I would not be at all surprised to see near future National Championships, perhaps even this year.
Flame away. Just thought some of you would like to know we are more than impressed with the LSU football program.

We ain't going anywhere as long as Les is at the helm.
Something else underrated: our fans demand excellence more than any other fan base.
2011 bought Les 5 more years. Looking to win it all THIS or Next year.

No reason to flame you for a well written thought out post
Some of our own fan don't feel the same if you haven't noticed
Me personally I've loved les since 05. Keeping that team focuse, well not just any coach could have done that.
I'll wait to see how LSU handles auburn to start SEC play and how the first road SEC game goes before gettin to giddy but you have made some solid points
Fwiw, I was and still am happy the Aggies joined the party. I was a 80's kid and the games back them were always hard fought and full of dislike on both sides
