Bama playing PSU and FSU as home and homes is how i want to watch college football, not them playing them at a neutral site.

People (and fans) are highly mobile in today's society. All of us don't live at or even near the 'home and home' that everyone in BR wants. The University understands this and along with recruiting these areas, is bringing LSU football to where the alumni are relocating. From a business and fan perspective it makes total sense.

You are probably correct.

I admit I don't know the current rule concerning neutral sites. I did a search & could find nothing definite.

How about recruits attending practices? That could be motivation as far as recruiting is concerned.

Lambeau field is awesome, but Camp Randall would have been better

Um,no

Um, yeah.

Lambeau field is for the Packers, and is one of the greatest venues in all of sports. I'm sure it was awesome for the LSU fans that went there.

Had we played at Camp Randall, i wouldn't have hesitated to make that game. I want to experience jump around, i want to experience the stupid dotting the i at OSU, i want to sit in the Big House, I want to visit Notre Dame, I want to be the only purple section in a white out game at PSU, I would have loved to gone to Autzen and see how loud it really was, I'd love to see Bevo run out, and Ralphie, i want to see FSU fans doing their war chant, I want to rub the stupid rock at Clemson, and then i want all of their fans to come down to Baton Rouge and experience a real tailgate, and then an arse whipping.
That's college football, and that's what i want to experience.

I will bring my kids to Lambeau one day when they get older, and it will be to watch the Packers play the Bears or the Vikings in December, and hopefully it's -10F.
That's Lambeau Field, and that's what i want to experience.

If the goal for this is recruiting purposes, it's pointless to target New Orleans. That area will never not be a recruiting pipeline simply because LSU is the closest power 5 school.

Just seems dumb to play a game in a stadium 70 miles away that isn't as big or modern as your own stadium.

they better not change the UCLA games...maybe the only chance some of us will ever have to see LSU play in the Rose Bowl!!!!

This. Its a bucket list item for me to see the Tigers play in the Rose Bowl. I sure as hell would prefer it be for the Rose Bowl or playoff game, but I won't be picky.

It is a joke that we cannot negotiate a mutually beneficial home and Dome with Tulane

Really???? Why in hell would we want to play a third rate program like toolame and allow them to make a huge amount of $ off LSU fans (since they have so few of their own)?
