LSU could learn so much from these 2 teams

Our coaches & QBs specifically.
A high percentage of each team's pass plays have been short easy throws. One single read to make and get rid of it. Get the ball to your playmakers in space. Then you see how much it opens things up downfield.
I don't know why our coaches refuse to employ something similar. You could do a lot of these same things out of the I.

like what? We have an incredible ball control offense all we lack is quarterback completion percentage

no , no way man ... it has to be 3rd and 12 before we throw the 5 yard out ....

It's a much different style of offense. Out of the shotgun and a lot of moving parts. I do think we will adapt to some of this style evidenced by the inclusion of more shotgun sets, jet sweep read, and more frequent throws to the tight end.

Well, I think in LSU's case, it would help our QBs to get some easy throws.
Bubble screens, spot passes, slip screens, play fake & dump to TE or FB in the flat
All those plays have much higher completion percentages/probabilities than a 5 step drop slow developing play.

for several years now, even before cam, it appeared to me that the vast majority of our passes were downfield passes. in order to execute those you have to have a superior route run by the WR, perfect timing on the throw and a major league throw down the field. that puts way to much pressure on our qb's as they can't execute many of those. mett, in his second yr as a starter could execute those but he still needed incredible catches from beckham and landry.
it's like we need a Kenny stabler to pass the ball effectively.

Either of these Qbs in the cameron offense and we win a bunch.

I tend to agree with this

Yea but it took us 13 games.......13 games to throw in a few wrinkles. Our learning curve is too steep.

After 10 years, it should be quite clear that Les can't learn
If there is something simple that makes sense, LSU makes sure we don't run it

There's a helluva lot more to it than completion percentage
