And another thing to consider.

Each of these teams have attempted more passes in one half than we attempt all game long.

1st half numbers:
Mariota 23 attempts
Jones 15 attempts

LSU attempts (full game) average 18 attempts.

That's just not enough to get your QB in a rhythm.

Somebody said that in another thread and I had to make it my sig quote.

I forgot to quote the poster. And now I can't remember who it was

Ohio State has a QB making his 3rd start in the NC game and he looks better than LSU's QB with 13 starts.

Jennings throws the ball into the 5th row on a waggle to the fb in the flat. There literally is not an easier throw. It's hard when your QB is that limited. If LSU attempted to run the OSU offense with Jennings, we would turn it over 4+ times a game.

It is a shame how elementary our scheme is. If let LF run out of the formations elliot does he would get 200 a game.

bullshite. Our offense is fine when we have decent qb play.

Wow. Our offense is far more complex than what oregon and ohio state run. ohio state runs the same exact play 60% of the time . Oregon does the same.

The SEC can't match up with either of these teams. LSU is stone age with the I formation offense, even with a decent QB.

After 10 years, it should be quite clear that Les can't learn

If there is something simple that makes sense, LSU makes sure we don't run it

i think clm is capable of running a productive offense , but he has to change his way of thinking ....

our qbs are not turned loose , instead he has them terrified and scared to turn the ball over ...

and that leads to putting the qbs in bad situations ....(a first down pass in our offense is as rare as an on side kick)

a lot of people say that Oregons offense is too gimmicky and i tend to agree ...

but no matter the scheme a team runs, the goal is to be unpredictable .....

well we have one of the more predictable offenses in the nation .....

Ummm....if the QB can't throw them what good does it do?
