Wow, this year looks like Top 8 RPI teams are the top 8 seeds. I wonder if that will make them factor in RPI for all decisions this year.

While that thought seems legit, it's been discussed plenty that the tourney doesn't "mean much" for national seeding. So, I'd like to say our winng said tourney jumps us over FL, but i doubt it

What I would hate to see is LSU and Florida getting the #4 and #5 seeds and having to play each other in a super regional.

Probably not.
They have a higher RPI, non-conference RPI, strength of schedule, and top 100 RPI wins. They also beat us 2/3.
We have more top 50 wins and the tournament title over them. That's kind of it.
Doesn't really matter, though.
