Would like to hear some info on where we stand now as regarding to making it and what will we have to do in future?? VERY sickening how poorly coached this team is and how they constantly play down to competition. It would be heartbreaking for a team with this much talent to not get a bid. Just pathetic

Go to bracketmatrix.com

Combines all the legit projections out there.

We aren't as bad off as all of the posters who just finished watching their first game of the season think we are. I would be very surprised if they miss the tourney (might get blown out in our first game, but I see them getting in around 10/11)

I think you're required to win a basketball game to get into the tourney

This team can't

The problem is that the NCAAT doesn't start today. LSU's OOC SOS is poor. That's not going to help come March. Plus, they just finished what looks like it was the "easy" part of the SEC schedule only 5-4. There is no Vandy, South Carolina, MSU, Mizzou left on the schedule. LSU's weak SOS gives them very little margin for error in SEC play. 10 wins probably isn't going to cut it. Especially if teams like UGA and Ark have equal SEC wins

They usually do it about twice a week, considering most projections only put out 1-2 a week

Before today they were a 9.8 avg seed or something like that

1. they were 4 for 17 from 3 point line. if they were 6 for 17, they win the game. 6 for 17 is not spectacular.

previous game Q-man was 0-6 from three point line.
Q-man had one of his better games tonight.

2. They have to win all but two of the remaining games and at least one in the SEC and if they do, they will get an 11-11 play in game vs another Big 5 bumbler. If they win a couple of SEC tournament games and lose just one besides U of K, they may get a 10 seed. Lose 3 and they are in the NIT or lose 2 and lose first one in the SEC tournament and they are in the NIT.

better off in the NIT.

would get to host a mediocre "AA" conference team that won its conference reg season but was bumped in conference tournament final or maybe a really good AA conference runnerup that was dumped early in their tournament.
They seed the NIT. LSU has to play well in the SEC tournament to get a good seed even in the NIT.
