L.S.U. can't use "Rain" as an excuse..........

Watching Florida vs Troy. Gators have already scored 35 points with 4 minutes still to go in the first half. Game being played in a driving rainstorm. Meyer running his regular offense, not the "conservative" wet weather offense.
Florida Field turf is holding up great in the monsoon too, which shows that a properly maintained and cultivated natural grass field will not fall apart and become a muddy mess in the rain.
Don't want to hear any excuses tonight from anybody associated with LSU or from the "excuse makers" here on The Rant IF there are either football or turf problems tonight in Tiger Stadium.
Florida doesn't seem effected by the falling moisture at all........

Caddo Parish Stadium got a brand spanking new Field Turf field this summer. It was a million bucks. Should be NO problem for LSU and the payback is 8 years saving on labor, water, etc. No brainer for me! It will handle 20 inches of rain - PER DAY!

The score at the end of the first quarter was 7-3 UF, so I'd say that it has effected them

The only reason Florida is beating troy that bad is because its raining. If it was not raining the game would be close.

LSU won't use the rain as an excuse, they will say the time change and short work week is what lost the game. That and the fact that Miles wanted to save the playbook for tougher opponents.
