Debo plays MLB in the pros. He would have been on that list had he played that position here.

Yea Kwon as well.... just going off guys who played it at LSU.

Seems everybody is putting Minter higher than I had him. I just dont remember him being as big a factor as K Beckwith and Sheppard were. I know when he played that one year he was good and had that outstanding game against UF. But hes just not quite as imprinted in my mind as they were

K Beckwith
B James
K Minter

L Turner
D Beckwith

White likely ends up somewhere in top 3

IMO

Because we all remember the Florida game. It's not often you watch a football game and the middle linebacker is the obvious choice as the best player on the field for both teams, and those two teams had NFL talent littered all over the place. That happened this past game with Devin White. Those terrible UF teams beat us by 20+ if Minter and White don't play.

Faulk was a MLB. James moved to the middle after Faulk left. James only played MLB one season, but it was a beastly season. Faulk should definitely be on this list: Freshman All-American, 2x All-SEC, and 2nd team All-American his Junior year.

Rank these notable MLBs from last 20 years in your opinion.. I'll give my ranking as list 1) Bradie James 2) Kendall Beckwith 3) Kelvin Sheppard 4) Devin White (perhaps premature, but Im giving him this spot from what I see so far, and likely to rise) 5) Kevin Minter 6) Lionel Turner 7) Darry Beckwith Just curious where yall see White stacking up so far. Note: not including OLBS like Trev, Highsmith, Kwon, etc just MLBs

DJ Welter

LSU always has enjoyed top linebackers throughout as far back as 1958. Every season isn't the same however.

Fwiw Trev was actually a MLB also. James only played it one year in 02 after Faulk left.

glad to see a couple people point this out.

Trev was a beast for us, definitely up there with Bradie, Minter and Beckwith. he had back to back 100 tackle seasons. and this was before bowl stats were included in total stats before '02, so he may be shorted a few in some of the stat listings.

What happened to Trev regarding the NFL draft? Did they find a medical issue?
