I am liking that most of the country is underestimating LSU this year. We will come out looking different with a new swagger!!!
I can't wait!!!

I think this is the first year I have real expectations honestly. I like having real expectations honestly. I see a 9-3 year.

I think Oline is a real issue. Not the coaches fault, it's the hand we were dealt.

Homer wants me to believe coach O is trolling us on things but I think our OLine and ok QB play gets us 9 wins

Let's see us against BYU then we can decide what our expectations our. I just want to beat Bama

Basically by other boards that think we will suffer on offense. I don't think we will be dramatically different but we will have the right play calls in situational plays. Something we have missed for a very long time.

I believe he is referring to people thinking that we are overrated at #12.

Didn't the OP say "most of the country is underestimating LSU"?

Is there a groundswell of most of the country underestimating us that I have missed?

We will use mis direction. It's been years since I was watching a game and looked the wrong direction for the ball

Just in reading on the other boards and talking with other people. Even watch espn they aren't really behind LSU this year. Honestly I feel like we have a really have a good shot this year to beat BAMA.

I get it but USA Today just did the piece with a 10 win projection.

That seems fair to me.

I think the value in that. Has been missing in our game plan for a decade .....They underestimate the value of that change for us

Honestly, LSU has underwhelmed every year since 2011.

No not at all. I think Lsu is ranked about where they should be. A lot of people get their info from posters on the SEC rant and buy into it lol.

Not gonna happen this year. We haven't even kept it close in Tuscaloosa lately and we have OLine problems.

Even if LSU beats the brakes off of BYU with a score of 44-10 everyone and I mean everyone will be saying that's what LSU is supposed to do or well maybe BYU isn't that good this year. With good reason and even if that does happen BYU could still be decent team they could just be matched up poorly to LSU.

Basically what I'm saying is that you can't judge a season by the first game no matter what it looks like. Nor can you judge a team by simular opponents because some teams match up with others better. It's the way it's now days with all different types of schemes or athletes.

LSU being underestimated

LSU being a puzzle. Will the OL hold up, with little back-up? How much will the offense improve from last year, a little or a lot?

How good will Etling be, is this the year LSU plays a freshman, Alabama did? How many weeks will it take for LSU's offense to hit its stride?

LSU can be very dominant, all that depends on the offense.

I think this is the season where if you say the team will get into the playoffs, you will get downvoted. At the same time if you say they will have a 9-3 season like last year, you will also get downvoted. So the best option is to enjoy the ride and hope for the best.
