Despite some sloppiness, we are 4-1 in our new season and set for a highly ranked road game on Tuesday.

I'd have taken that before SEC play started in a heartbeat.

I just want this team to be all it can Butt. I love LSU hoops, maybe a bit disproportionally to what I should in the grand scheme, but I am who I am.

May come across differently in that I still worry about the things I see that frustrate me, but believe me I'm psyched for this A&M game and actually feel pretty good about it because I think we'll be motivated, and we've been pretty formidable when motivated under CJJ.

Found it interesting on the SEC Network that the BPI projection gave us only a 15% chance to win against A$M. Hmmmmmm...more motivation.

Geaux Tigers.

I expected more, too..but if we take it game by game and look at the small picture, we can still achieve some of our goals because we still have the talent

Oh my god. You people. Unbelievable. Just because you aren't in last 4 in doesn't mean you're not a bubble team. Without the last Arkansas win on LAST game of season I guarantee you LSU wouldn't have made it. Oh look someone's watched college basketball for 2 seasons now

At the end of the season.after arky and Before the sec tourney lsu was in the tourney. They were selected before about 12 teams. If you consider the bubble around 25 teams then okay they were a bubble team.

Actually that is the exact definition of a bubble team. The teams right on the bubble on whether or they are getting in. I'm going to assume that SLU in your name stands for a particular college you went to. If so that makes sense.

Yes. As in a have a degree unlike you. I'm glad something actually makes sense to you. Probably doesn't happen often.

And you're argument is just plain stupid. There are only 4 teams who are on bubble. The fifth team made it in with no sweat. The committee didn't even have to consider it. Gotcha

Ok maybe number 5 was a bubble team too... Maybe... But I'll give it to you for the sake of argument. However LSU wasn't even close to that. We were about the 8th or 9th or 10th team in. Therefore LSU was not a bubble team.

All I'm saying is that is after arky win. We won thank god. Without that we might not make it in. Either way I don't see point of arguing bc I am Johnny Jones fan and don't see logic behind people wanting him fired.

I have no problem with this at all. When ben simmons gets aggresive and drives hard to the goal he is very hard to stop. Isually he'll score or draw a foul.

LSU fans made LSU Way more on the bubble than they actually were. 9th seed is not bubble.

4 10's, 6 11's, 6 12's were behind LSU. tbats literally at least 16 teams more on the bubble than LSU, so in the committe's eyes, LSU was ranked anywhere from 33-36 and a solid at large team.

I was really surprised at how big the crowd was. I mean LSU sold the 3rd most tickets they have since the 2005-06 renovation. It was a random dreary January Saturday night game against a middle of the road team.

That's what happens when a giant crowd shows up (Kentucky game) and they go home happy. They want to come out again. So everyone came out again for the next Saturday game.

It had been a long time since a huge crowd showed up and LSU won.

Yep. And I expect that trend to continue. Even though it certainly had sloppy moments, the ending was worth the price of admission

If we continue to win our home games, I expect some monster crowds down the stretch.

No doubt. I'm hoping it's like last years Kentucky crowd.
