Don't rant up this this thread please. It has the potential for some good discussion. Everyone knows your opinions on the matter. No need to repeat them here.

Where's his rantings? I've stated before he has more inside knowledge of LSU hoops than you can dream.

TJ has bigger problems than trying to hire an assistant.

He was bringing the Hamilton stuff, along with rumored other problems to this thread.

Also, I don't have any inside knowledge of LSU hoops. I've never claimed any and don't really want any. It's certainly not something I "dream" of.

And yours matters. since when did you become the police on this site, your wishful bs is falling apart and sinking with TJ. I'm a realist not a bs spinner that is okay with mediocrity. I long for quality basketball with a couple of descent players to go watch, every few years. We are about to lose the best player on the team so he can play in Europe, with probably more to follow. TJ had a chance to hire Randy twice and refused too, he has made his bed here trying to do it HIS way and it has failed miserably.

I hope the other attrition rumors aren't true. I heard JOB is gonna stay but I'm not positive about him or anyone else for that matter.

I'd love to get Randy Livingston but Trent would have to put some ego aside and let an LSU "good ole boy" into the BBQ gang and I don't think he's ready to do that

Then it will spell his demise, IMO.

FYI, I said Trent should be fired after the season was over. My only stance was to wait until the season was over. Not sure what "wishful bs" is. I have been very consistent.

Not really. I like Randy, and I love the prospect of Randy coaching at LSU, but he's not the only guy that could do well in this role.

To clarify, I don't care if it's Livington; just someone with Louisiana roots.

I am tired of the Randy Livingston hard-on that everyone has. Also, I have no interest in a high school coach or an AAU coach. Nor do I have any interest in anyone over the age of 120 (this rules out Tex Winter and Lynn Nance returning)

So who do you want yo yo....or are you a Miss St fan?

I definitely agree with you on that. The St Aug coach would be a great hire, imho. Just someone to break ground in the local recruiting circles and pull some weight.

yea it's gonna be tough to go out and get a top end 1 or 2 assistant with trent on a pretty warm seat. barthe or white would be solid hires from a recruiting standpoint.
