I figured Pap's bat could potentially keep him from being the full-time starter, but if that's not an issue, I'm for it. I still think Sciv starts the season there, but Pap can definitely take over before SEC play. We can play Chinea at DH.

Pap's defensive skill set is being compared to Ty Ross. He is also a switch hitter who is already showing a lot of promise at the plate.
These freshman pitchers deserve a polished catcher to help them along. Pap's time needs to be sooner rather than later.
No knock on Scivicque or Chinea, but there are obvious reasons the Blue Jays selected Pap in the MLB draft.
