ou know what is interesting about all this? Back in the day, this question was asked to white players about black players. Funny how looking back we say how ignorant they were to not want black teammates. Now we have idiots on here supporting Blue's comments. I am not saying Blue is or terrible person or should be reprimanded, but it is a very ignorant position to take.

Maybe I'm reading something different, but from what I can gather what Blue said basically means:
If you are gay and we know you are gay then you are going to have to work harder to prove you are a bad arse football player in order to overcome the stereotype.
He didn't say anything about not wanting to play with gay players.

This is my last post on this topic, i agree Blue has the right to say what he said. I just feel like if you had a gay teammate, you shouldn't say you would view them as a sissy and as someone who couldnt do as well as you because they like a man. I just feel like once someone is a teammate, they should be viewed as an equal. I don't understand how this logic is wrong

I played in High school with a gay teammate. His locker was next to mine. It really didnt cause any issue because we didnt discuss those kinda of issues. I don't get why it's so important to broadcast your sexuality to the whole world. I knew he was gay. He knew I wasn't. And it was left at that and never discussed.
