Plus UT doesn’t really play in neutral site games, which is commendable

We played at Syracuse in 2015 bro. Also this will probably end up being moved to somewhere like Houston. Too much money for ole Joe to pass up

It's a home and home series that ends in Baton Rouge in 2020.

Will we ever have a home-and-home series with Troy? I want to beat them there.

Love Louisiana to death but to much opportunity out here in Texas which Louisiana cant touch.

Louisiana is a much smaller state man and tejas has 3 of the largest cities in the country; of course there is, generally speaking, more job opportunities here.

Lol. Texas will not play LSU at neutral site. Come on are you serious? If they play in Houston, LSU will more than likely out draw them and have more fans there. That's not a lie. They will never do that. Why do you think they play OU in dallas? Hahaha. Texas is a bunch of pussies.

2011 LSU was AT West Virginia. 2010 was at home.

Texas has and always has been built on oil. Louisiana is crucial to that as well. We are very similar. Texas has a lot of louisiana transplants. A lot of people from Texas, especially east Texas and Houston are LSU fans. That's a fact.

You’re right about the number of tickets allotted to visitors. I forgot that LSU will only get 3,500 tickets because it’s a non-conference game. I hope it’s a night game.

Why not set up a 3 game series. Game 1 in Austin, Game 2 in Baton Rouge and the winner take all game at a neutral site. Since neutral site games aren’t going anywhere why not incorporate them into a home and home series.

Texas will never play LSU in Houston or Dallas. You know it and so do I. It will be an embarrassing thing to host a game in your home state and not have the majority in attendance. That's what would happen. Texas will never play LSU in Texas unless it's in Austin and the have complete control over the tickets. I don't blame them, I wouldn't either.

It’s hard for me to get excited about these games when the state of our own program is so bad.

Yay, we play Texas. In Austin. With a shite coach.

Our program isn't as bad as our fans make it out to be. You been an LSU fan long?

If we played Texas we would have stomped them this year. Period. With a bunch of kids from texas on our team. They don't like that and know it isn't in the best inTerest of their program, so they're hesirant to play LSU. Look at the proximity and how many times we've played each other and look at the record. LSU is a nightmare for texas.

Pre-Saban days...

Our program isn’t Ole Miss. Or Moo State. Or Arky. I get that. But we also aren’t dominant. We will still drop a game to a team like that. We still show up unprepared. We still play like absolute fools. It’s because we have a coaching staff that allows sub par play. It’s pretty simple. Poor play isn’t excuses at powerhouse programs. At LSU, it’s excused.

We simply didn't have the talent or depth in key positions to win a title this year, sorry. It just wasn't there. It wasn't there for hundreds of other fbs programs, but we strive for that and will always. Our qb and line of scrimmage were depleted. We will return.

Who said anything about winning a title this year? I know we aren’t Bama. What they’ve done is something that is damn near unattainable.

Do we? Is our athletic department really striving for that? It seems like we are sacrificing winning in order to save a few bucks here or there.

Will we return? Yeah, but not with O at the helm.
