I have been waiting on an OOC opponent like this, but I have a question about these.

Sans the Wisconsin series, which was neutral site, why is it every series we have to play at the opponents place first?

Wow. I thought this would never happen. I guess Texas is realizing that they aren't all that special.

If Saban had taken the UT gig this would have been bad arse. Realistically, it could have been final seasons for both coaches.

I don't think it's coincidence that we are, given our conference schedule, which has good teams on it (e.g., Baylor, TCU, KState) but not matchups that really excite anyone. Our biggest and best game of the year (provided Mack isn't coaching in it) is always in Dallas so we're having to get some better OOC games IMO.

Who has the best shot at still coaching? Les or Strong?

Anyone care to bet that this series never happens or gets converted to a neutral site game?

And I have a feeling he will have his team turned around by then.

Some programs are afraid of the other team backing out of a contract. After LSU backed out of our series with NC State, I'm not too surprised. The SEC is also notorious for OOC traveling in general.

Anyways, it's a great pick up for LSU.

By home and home they mean one game played in Houston or Dallas, right?

And just about every other one has been scheduled away first, after WVU.

Yeah...Wash., VTech, Arizona were all on the road first and Syracuse and Texas will.. Only played Oregon St. at home. Arizona State was supposed to start in BR. We did play Notre Dame in BR before South Bend, though.
